EP-2000  (Microbicide can be added upon request)

EP-2000 is a high chemical resistant epoxy flooring system designed for harsh environments such as areas with heavy forklift traffic and exposure to corrosive chemicals.  It may be used as a protective coating on new floors or to restore worn, abraded, or corroded surfaces.  EP-2000 has zero volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions which is a major advantage when the area cannot be completely cleared of plant personnel.  This floor system can be installed with very little disruption to plant operations.

  • Good resistance to corrosion

  • No VOC

  • Excellent adhesion

  • Excellent physical properties

  • Non-slip surface

  • USDA approved

  • Good flexural and tensile strength

  • Good chemical resistance

Product Info

EP-2000 consists of 100% solid, solvent-free, two part epoxy liquid with graded silica sand.  It can be installed over a variety of substrates including wood, brick, concrete, quarry tile, and metal.  EP-2000 is troweled at a nominal thickness of 1/4 inch over a penetrating liquid epoxy bonding coat, and then sealed with a 100% solids zero VOC epoxy sealer.  This forms a high impact, chemical resistant, monolithic floor coating which can handle traffic in approximately 12 hours following installation.
